The class of 2014 canton-bound Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductees were announced on stage last NFL Honors night. There are only seven enshrinees: Michael Strahan, Derrick Brooks, Walter Jones, Andre Reed, Aeneas Williams, and two Senior Committee's inductees in Claude Humphrey and Ray Guy.

This class was lead by controversial Michael Strahan for being snubbed in last year's Hall of Fame class. Strahan was rivaled by the another defensive lineman in Warren Sapp, to which the hall was given. But now Michael Strahan, the "Sack Artist" who holds the single-season sack record for a defensive player, fully deserved a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Joining Strahan for the modern-era, Walter Jones and Derrick Brooks were inducted in their first year of eligibility for the Hall of Fame. Walter Jones, an offensive lineman like Jonathan Ogden of last year's hall, was the cornerstone of Seattle Seahawks Franchise for paving ways as a road blocker for his running backs and as a blind-side Left Tackle for his quarterbacks. Derrick Brooks, the Middle Linebacker who revolutionized his position for playing deep in their Tampa 2 Defense on his once Super Bowl winning team, the 2002 Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The not-so-forgotten players who were shockingly inducted yet deserved for their memorable contribution on their own teams, Andre Reed and Aeneas Williams, were not your typical vote-me-to-the-hall type of guy to get immortal recognition. Andre Reed, the no. 1 receiver of Hall of Fame Quarterback Jim Kelly in their four consecutive Super Bowl appearances in 90's. Aeneas Williams is four time first-team All-Pro, eight time Pro Bowler and a member of NFL 1990's All-Decade Team was a surprise pick from the voters yet his numbers couldn't deny the impact he brought for his team and for the game. These two players portrayed that they deserved to get to the hall for their demeanor and didn't act like they want to get-hall-now which maybe the very reason why they are voted for the hall instead of other retired football players.

Claude Humphrey and Ray Guy were the forgotten greats for the last decades where in fact, they've faced so many competitors in the past to get a shot in the hall. Claude Humphrey recorded 126 and a half sack in his career in just 171 games and been in Pro Bowl six times, All-Pro eight times (five in first-team, three in second-team). Ray Guy, a member of three Super Bowl winning roster of the Oakland Raiders, a seven-time Pro Bowler and eight-time All-Pro (six in first-team, two in second-team), and the first punter ever to be inducted in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Now selected by Senior Committees, these two NFL Greats will be forever beloved by football fans visiting in Canton, Ohio.

What are your thoughts for this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame Inductees? Are these honorable gentlemen deserve to be immortalized in this point and time? Write your suggestions below.
