Just like in any game, predictions from the fans and from the media could come close to the actual results because they knew and it was given that any of the team's superstar heroics can happen anytime in the field, like a clutch field goal or a Red Zone interception that can seal the game. Whenever a ball is in playmaker's hands, anything can happen in a football field.
The Superbowl 48 features the best matchup of secondaries and receivers in this modern era. Denver Broncos' no. 1 offense features plethora of weapons from Peyton Manning up to his playmaking receivers at Eric Decker, Wes Welker and Demaryius Thomas, and also to his big-bodied running back and tight end with Knowshon Moreno and Julius Thomas. This offense can't stagnate every time they step on the field. Seattle Seahawks boast the league-leading interception squad in Legion of Boom. Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas III, Kam Chancellor, Byron Maxwell, and the rest of Seahawks' secondaries will try to catch up Adam Gase (Broncos' Offensive Coordinator) offensive playcalls and bring them down third and out.
My Super Bowl 48 bold prediction is that Seahawks will come out to win it deflecting Peyton Manning's late heroic passes in the game with a score of 14-13 at the end of regulation. The Broncos' cause of defeat will be their focus on Marshawn Lynch running lanes instead of Seahawks' underrated receivers. Zach Miller can be one of the X-Factors in the game pulling the chain of downs with his pass-catching abilities as a tight end. Broncos' Receivers will dominate the Seahawks' Legion of Boom in the open field but will come up short in the End Zone that will make them kick two field goals inside the Red Zone.
Anything can happen in a football field especially in a weather like this that can lead to a lot of ball turnovers for both teams. Arm strength, fresh legs and field vision won't be consistent throughout the game because of hard hits to their bodies which already adapted the cold temperature inside MetLife Stadium.
